What We Believe

God

God is the Creator and Ruler of the universe. He has eternally existed in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

About Jesus Christ

Jesus Christ is the Son of God. He lived a perfect life yet was crucified for our sins. He was buried and then rose again. This demonstrated His power over sin and death. Everything that Christianity stands for is founded in the resurrected Christ. Without the resurrection, our faith is useless.

About the Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit is present in the world to make people aware of their need for Jesus Christ and to remind all followers that we are heirs with Christ. The Christian seeks to live under His control daily.

About the Bible

The Bible is God’s Word to all people.

About Salvation

Salvation is a gift from God to all mankind. Sin has fractured all things, and we can never make up for our sin by self-improvement or good works—only by trusting in Jesus Christ as God’s offer of forgiveness.

About People

All people are created in the image of God. We can’t love God without loving people, and we can’t love people without loving God! Our goal is to connect with others. Connection is greater than correction.

About Love

God loves people unconditionally, and so should the church. It’s not the church’s job to disqualify or prequalify who can attend and/or worship. Anyone and everyone are welcome at The Bridge.
